Keyon Lo

Hong Kong Visual Artist

Keyon is a visual artist in Hong Kong who takes inspiration from working with conventional paint and sculpture and then digitalizes his work to create infinite new possibilities. He synthesizes canvas, fabric, acrylic, metal, ceramic, and wood into his work aims to excite and challenge by exploring unlikely combinations of visual materials. Unleashed into the digital world, his imagination, and unbridled fantasy, has been dancing with expressive techniques to create stirring works of art. Seductive colors are combined with indulgent patterns to create yet another story that he hopes you will find to be both provocative and stimulating.

Keyon’s art is greatly influenced by his work in the fashion and textile industry. He finds that overlaying his art onto arousing media is like dressing clothes onto warm human bodies. It is a technique that creates new layers of beauty that tease the eye, compelling you to seek the passion embodied in his art. It is this aim, to develop digital art into a sensual narrative, that is one of Keyon’s boldest goals.

Keyon believes that art is like a poem without words.  It is not just about what the artist sees, but the stories that he wants you to read. He hopes that his art will intrude into your world, he wants to hold your gaze. He intends to create an intimate moment where his life might entwine with yours. Ultimately, he aspires to conceive an artwork which, together with the fidelity of your gaze, might lead to a lifetime relationship full of unfolding adventures.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Keyon now enjoys a boundless global art that is rooted in local stories. He received a first class honor's degree in Fashion and Textiles at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.”

I was lucky to have found my gift in life, and I want to give it away through my artworks”,

said Keyon.
